As a Graduate you will:

• Assist Building Surveyors in the delivery of building surveying services, including surveys, dilapidation advice, party wall advice, and construction projects for new builds, renovations, and maintenance works – from feasibility through to design, contract administration to handover and post-completion reviews.
• Assist Building Surveyors with the preparation of:
• Feasibility studies
• Cost plans
• Submissions for planning and building regulation approvals
• Tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes.

Assisting building surveyors with:

• Evaluating and reporting on tenders
• Administration of construction contracts
• Undertaking surveys including condition surveys, DDA, Fire Risk Assessments, Schedules of Condition, and Acquisition Surveys.
• Preparing reports for customers
• Undertaking party wall surveyor duties
• Providing dilapidations advice and delivering dilapidations assessments, negotiating with other parties
• Undertaking quality monitoring roles of major construction projects.
• Successfully complete the Gleeds internal APC preparation programme and self-development training in readiness for attaining Chartered status (RICS)
• Ensuring that all quantitative and financial information has been independently checked before issue, including maintaining evidence of independent checks

About You

What you will need:

• You would have graduated or will be receiving your degree qualification before August 2025
• You will have the right to live and work in the UK.
• Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changes.
• Good ICT skills, with an elevated level of ability in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Lively and enthusiastic, but conscientious and precise.
• Outgoing and people-oriented, with a strong ability to work as part of a team.
