About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work alongside Chartered Building Surveyors and Associates, supporting them across various projects while developing your expertise towards your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Chartered Building Surveyors/Associates with daily project activities.
  • Conduct and support a range of surveys and site inspections.
  • Prepare and produce site meeting minutes, specifications for works, tender, and contract documents.
  • Provide support in acting as Employer’s Agent and Contract Administrator.
  • Analyze site activities and compile progress reports focusing on time, quality, and cost.
  • Offer necessary assistance to ensure the successful completion of the team’s objectives.
  • Guide and support trainee surveyors within the team.
  • Drive personal and professional development toward APC accreditation, enhancing industry knowledge and skillset.

Skills & Qualifications

  • An RICS-Accredited Degree
  • Basic understanding of JCT Contracts and Contract Administration duties.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
