Job summary

Hardies Property & Construction Services in Inverness is seeking a Graduate Apprenticeship Building Surveyor to join our on-site team. You will assist senior surveyors with surveys, condition assessments and feasibility studies while contributing to design, procurement and project delivery.

This full-time role includes structured training and mentoring toward chartered status, developing skills in CAD/BIM, reporting, and compliance across diverse properties.

Qualifications

• Meet entry requirements for the Graduate Apprentice course – SQA Higher BBBC.
• Strong interest in the built environment and surveying career; willingness to study degree level education.
• Willingness to learn from and support Senior Staff with surveying and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior surveyors with building surveys, condition surveys and feasibility studies across various property types.
• Support design and specification of construction works, procurement and project delivery.
• Prepare reports, gather technical information and help ensure quality, time and budget targets.
