Qualifications

  • Graduate Building Surveyor with a relevant degree and RICS approval.
  • Good IT skills including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Are you a Graduate Building Surveyor looking to make your next career move? My client is a multidisciplinary consultancy looking to expand their team.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of building surveyors covering all aspects of professional and project-related building surveying across a wide range of sectors including commercial and industrial.


Responsibilities:

  1. Execute and coordinate work as directed by senior staff
  2. Assist with the preparation of sketch plans, working drawings, specifications and reports
  3. Assist with preparing feasibility studies and providing design advice
  4. Undertake site inspections and attend site meetings
  5. Produce designs, assessments and reports in accordance with quality procedures
  6. Liaise effectively with clients, other design team members and third parties
  7. Understand and adhere to existing working practices, methods and procedures
  8. Work within the given programme and cost constraints
  9. Proactive in self-development

Requirements:

  1. Relevant degree (RICS approved, 2:1 minimum)
  2. A full driving licence
  3. Good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, NBS and other software)
