Job description

Looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor role where you can grow in a supportive consultancy known for developing talent from graduate level all the way to senior leadership?

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Building Surveying graduate to gain hands-on experience across a range of projects and sectors, including social housing, education, and NHS (with the practice actively expanding into new areas).

You will receive dedicated support towards your APC and be mentored by experienced Chartered Surveyors, two of whom started as graduates and are now leading teams within the business.

The Opportunity:

  • Assist in delivering core building surveying services:
    • Defect analysis and building pathology
    • Contract administration
    • Specification writing and technical reports
    • Schedules of condition and acquisition surveys
  • Develop technical knowledge across sectors including social housing, education, NHS, and commercial.
  • Build strong client relationships and develop your commercial awareness.
  • Benefit from clear progression opportunities in a practice with an outstanding track record of promoting from within.

Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline (RICS-accredited preferred).
  • Ambitious and proactive, with a genuine interest in progressing to Chartered status (MRICS).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
