The Company

We are looking to procure a “Graduate Building Surveyor”to join a multi-disciplinary Building consultancy based local to the Bridgwater area.

They work on long term, stable frameworks for housing associations, local authorities, building contractors and larger consultants.

They provide excellent training and development opportunities with a relaxed work pattern and home working

The Role

We are looking for a “Graduate Building Surveyor” to join their Net Zero team. Based locally to the Bridgwater area you will be involved and trained in the following type of work:

• Retrofit Assessments
• EPCs
• Stock Condition Surveys
• Compiling maintenance schedules
• Ensuringproperties meet regulatory standards.
• Arranging appointments with tenants and clients
• Diary management
• Detailed inspections of the fabric and services of properties in relation to the
• energy efficiency
• Highlighting health and safety issues including – damp/mould, fabric defects and safeguarding

The idea candidate

We are for a “Graduate Building Surveyor” with the following skills and attributes:

• Local / commutable to the Bridgwater region
• BSc level or above in Building Surveying or Construction related degree
• Previous experience within theindustry as a building surveyor, domestic energy assessor ideal but not essential
• Good IT skills and interpersonal skills with client focused approach.
• A diligent and detail-oriented approach.
• A full driving Licence and use of your own vehicle – Car Allowance and Mileage Paid –(travel is an essential part of the role)
• This role will require a DBS check to be carried out
