Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is a global independent construction, property and management consultancy which is employee-owned. Hays are delighted to offer this Graduate Building Surveying role, which provides a dynamic work environment with a strong focus on professional development and the opportunity to work on various projects and sectors.

Your New Role:

As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will support Senior Building Surveyors. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Undertaking a wide range of Building Surveying services under supervision, including:
   1. Serving and negotiating dilapidations
   2. Conducting schedules of condition and condition surveys
   3. Performing pre-acquisition surveys and fire insurance/reinstatement valuations
   4. Conducting feasibility studies and handling landlord consents
2. Preparing and drafting professional reports outlining proposals and results
3. Assisting with procurement, delivery, and contract administration of projects
4. Collaborating with stakeholders to support decision-making processes
5. Implementing policies, strategies, and standards for development and disposal opportunities
6. Ensuring property information is accurately gathered and maintained
7. Contributing to the development and implementation of a robust Asset Management Rating system and Asset Management Plan
8. Adhering to health and safety and risk management procedures

• A degree in Building Surveying or a related field
• A team player with the desire to work collaboratively and independently
• Ambition to work towards MRICS designation
• Strong communication and organisational skills
