Graduate Building Physics Engineer

Manchester

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is currently seeking a Graduate Building Physics Engineer to join their growing team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for sustainable design and building performance to start their career in a forward-thinking, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carrying out dynamic thermal modelling, daylight and overheating analysis, and energy assessments using industry-standard software (e.g. IES-VE, TAS)

* Supporting the delivery of low-carbon and net-zero design strategies for buildings across multiple sectors

* Assisting in Part L compliance, BREEAM assessments, and other environmental certifications

* Producing technical reports and collaborating closely with internal design teams and external clients

The ideal candidate will have:

* A relevant degree (Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related subject

* A strong interest in building performance, sustainability, and low-carbon design

* Ideally some familiarity with building simulation tools (training provided)

* Strong communication skills and a proactive, analytical approach

* Must be based in (or willing to relocate to) Manchester, with the right to work in the UK
