Thornton College in Milton Keynes is looking to appoint a Graduate Boarding Assistant to support boarding students in our Boarding House, starting January 2026. The role combines boarding and school duties and offers scope for professional development.

Single accommodation with bathroom facilities is provided in the Boarding House, with meals included during term time. The post requires full commitment during term time, with holidays at Christmas, Easter and a half-term break.

Qualifications

• Duties include boarding house responsibilities and school duties.
• DBS check and safeguarding procedures will be followed.
• Clean driving licence is desirable but not essential.
• Commitment during term time with holidays outside term.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with wake ups and bedtimes.
• Assisting with daytime break and lunch duties.
• Covering in day school as required.
• Organising and running activities and attending outings.
