My client is a rapidly growing Reading-based business specialising in tender writing, bidding, and public procurement. They support their clients to grow their businesses by writing bids to win new work and contracts.
The role
We are looking for candidates with excellent writing and communication skills to become excellent bid writers.
Your role will involve communicating with clients, understanding their businesses, and translating their service offerings into compelling narratives. This role offers exposure to various organisations (such as charities, consultancy firms, and tier one construction companies) and sectors (including custody and justice; energy and tech; security and defence; health and social care; and civil engineering and construction).
You will support clients in bidding for iconic projects, helping shape public sector services in the UK. Building long-lasting relationships and supporting clients repeatedly will be a key part of your role.
About you
We seek diligent candidates who are excellent communicators, proactive, good at time management, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Adaptability, resilience, a desire to develop writing skills, and teamwork are essential. Candidates with backgrounds in English Literature, Law, History, or other essay-based subjects are encouraged to apply.
