Job summary

Marsh McLennan is seeking a Graduate Bid Manager within its IMPACT proposals team in Manchester. You will support the creation and coordination of bespoke insurance proposals and RfP responses for major clients, developing high-quality content and helping define project scope and timelines.

No previous insurance or proposal experience is required; full training and development will be provided as you build technical knowledge and progress into more senior roles over the next 24 months.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree or above; graduate-focused role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Positive, personable, professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop over time.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and coordination of bespoke insurance proposals and RfP responses for major clients and prospects.
• Help Marsh win new business and retain existing clients by producing high-quality proposal content.
• Work with teams across Marsh to define project scope, timelines and requirements, supporting delivery through to completion.
• Help manage project activity, ensuring tasks are tracked and progressed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Contribute ideas, ask questions, and support the team in identifying better ways of working.
• Develop a strong understanding of Marsh’s services, clients and proposal process over time.
• Be an active and reliable member of a high-performing team, helping ensure clients and prospects receive the best of Marsh.
