As a Graduate Bid Manager, you will assist the Bid Manager/ Director on Pre-Contract Bid Management and Key Contract Management.
You will:
Help deliver successful projects by ensuring compliance with legal requirements, company standards, and industry best practice.
Work closely with construction and commercial teams to support project delivery across a range of framework contracts.
Support in the analysis of PQQ & tender documents & resource and manage a suitable bid team to deliver the bids.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to organise tender review meetings and track bid progress.
Provide input to enhance any framework tender opportunities and develop effective communication with the Pre-Construction process.
Gain exposure to commercial and contractual risk management by helping identify opportunities, challenges, and lessons learned from live projects.
Build strong relationships with clients and project teams by attending meetings and supporting project mobilisation activities.
Assist the initial procurement planning and strategy, optimising the approach towards risk management.
Take part in site visits and audits, helping to ensure robust commercial controls and project governance are in place.
Assist the process for the provision of effective and relevant commercial/contractual feedback data to the Pre-Construction team.
Work alongside Bid Managers to ensure framework processes and contractual requirements are effectively managed.
Collaborate with colleagues across the business, building relationships and improving communication between teams.
Contribute to commercial reports that provide valuable insights into project performance, risks, opportunities, costs, and value.
Support financial forecasting and reporting, helping to monitor project performance, turnover, and cash flow across key contracts.
Develop a broad understanding of the commercial lifecycle of construction projects, from tender stage through to successful project completion.
This role is available for a September 2027 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit yourself and the business.
As part of the graduate programme you will be expected to work in and around the location advertised, with the possibility for expanding travel to other projects and locations in the future. This may include staying away from home.
