Graduate Behaviour Mentor – Role Overview:
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with students who require behavioural and emotional support
- Support pupils with ADHD, SEMH, and ASC needs
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing
- Deliver targeted interventions and behaviour strategies
- Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and inclusion teams
- Encourage academic and social development
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents
Ideal Candidate – Graduate Behaviour Mentor:- Recent Psychology or Education graduate (or related discipline)
- Experience working with young people (e.g. mentoring, youth work, school support, volunteering)
- Understanding of safeguarding, special educational needs, and behaviour management
- Calm, empathetic, and proactive under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A desire to work in education, educational psychology, counselling, or youth work
