Graduate Automotive Engineer – Quality Focus

Based near Merthyr Tydfil

£28,000 per annum

We’re working with a well-established, forward-thinking automotive manufacturer just outside of Merthyr Tydfil, and they’re looking for a motivated Graduate Automotive Engineer to join their quality team.

About the Role

As a Graduate Automotive Engineer focused on quality, you’ll play a key role in:

  • Supporting quality assurance activities across the production line.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Assisting with audits, quality reporting, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Collaborating closely with design, manufacturing, and customer teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and techniques (e.g. 8D, FMEA, Six Sigma) is a plus, but training can be provided.
  • A genuine interest in automotive manufacturing and quality systems.
