Job summary

Richmond and Wandsworth Councils are seeking a Graduate Audit Trainee to join the South West London Audit Partnership (SWLAP). You will gain hands-on experience in audit testing, fieldwork and reporting across five councils.

The role offers training towards a recognised internal audit qualification, with funding and mentoring, and opportunities to work with data analytics and Power BI. Applicants should have a 2:1 degree and strong analytical skills; the period is 12 months fixed term with

Qualifications

• A degree (2:1 or above) is required.
• Strong analytical, research, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Experience gathering, interpreting and evaluating information from various sources.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of audit engagements across council services and schools, performing testing and analysis under guidance.
• Assist in planning, fieldwork and reporting across services and partner councils.
