Job summary

Amey is recruiting a Graduate Asset Management Consultant in Manchester. You will join the Asset Management Transformation team, embedded with client organisations to apply engineering insight and deliver strategic change across highways, rail, aviation and energy sectors.

You’ll work on structured asset management practices, data-led insights, and reporting to support decision making and long-term value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Enjoy working in a team and collaborating with colleagues.
• Ability to prioritise, plan and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Apply ISO 55001 best practices to support asset management and improve performance.
• Use asset data to understand portfolios and unlock value.
• Contribute to innovative ideas and services for changing market needs.
• Support asset management strategies and transformation programmes for large organisations.
• Design systems showing full cost of assets over time.
• Collaborate with experts to identify improvements in asset performance.
• Create data-led reports to inform decision-making and risk planning.
• Explore technologies like digital twins, smart inspection tools, and predictive maintenance.
