Qualifications

• We welcome students who have studied Building Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Open to current students or recent graduates; no specific work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with practical site-based activities as part of the Asset Consultancy core delivery team.
• Undertake inspections of existing buildings and assets.
• Work with a team to identify and solve engineering, property and construction-related challenges.
• Document findings using industry-recognised software and digital tools.
• Develop asset information and lifecycle analyses.
• Carry out building condition and defect surveys across a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Contribute to the development of specifications, scopes of work and design packages.
• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of surveying and asset improvement projects.
• Represent Buro Happold at meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers, supported by senior team members.
• Contribute to service and design decisions that achieve project and client objectives.
