Graduate Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist - Coulsdon - Graduates and Trainees - Speech and Language Support - Autism

Do you have a passion for supporting children with Learning Difficulties, including Autism, and Speech, Language & Communication needs?

This specialist built school near Coulsdon are looking for a Graduate Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to support children aged 11-19 with mild to severe learning difficulties, including speech, language and communication needs, and autism.

This is an excellent way to get your ‘foot in the door’, providing the opportunity to work closely and network with other teams of professionals, gaining relevant experience, and expanding your knowledge and skillset. The Graduate Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist role will give you essential experience within a challenging yet rewarding setting.

Career progression routes include Speech and Language Therapy, Special Needs Teacher, Occupational Therapy and various Child Psychology and Educational Psychology routes.

A common feature for many children and young people with special educational needs is marginalisation and disadvantage, trauma, dysfunctional family relationships, low educational attainment and stigmatisation. Subsequently they face many barriers in life and are more ‘at risk’ of negative outcomes. Job Role and Responsibilities of a Graduate Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist:

**Mon-Fri, 9.00am-4.00pm PAYE, term time only
**£80-£100 per day
