A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is looking for a Graduate Aspiring Child Psychologist to support children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range from 10 to 16 years old and face challenges including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioral issues. The role involves providing intervention and pastoral support, building strong relationships, and being a consistent role model. The school is located in the beautiful Surrey Hills of Guildford and offers on-site parking.

The ideal candidate must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. Experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting is preferred. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling are also suitable for this position.

Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Pay: £85-£105 per day, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, term time only
• Training and CPD provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (no Visa sponsorship)
• Must be able to travel to Guildford and surrounding areas
