Who is the opportunity with?

This client is a family-owned global business that specialise in companion animal nutraceuticals — non-drug substances that are administered with the intent of improving health & well-being of animals.

Their products support cats and dogs across categories such as Joints, Gastrointestinal, Internal organs, skin/coat & brain/behaviour.

Over 90% of their products are produced in-house in their own state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, with the business now present in over 40 countries worldwide.

What does the role consist of?

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a geographical territory across the South West, ideally based in/near Bristol. You will receive market-leading training, with the first 42 weeks of development already planned. Training will be on-patch with the existing sales team, virtually, and at HQ in Lytham (fully expensed).

Once established, your typical day will include 3-4 meetings, focusing on new business and existing accounts. You will sell the company's full range of nutraceuticals to independent veterinary practices.

The company promotes from within; past graduate role members include UK National Sales Manager, Business Unit Manager for Western Europe, and Northern Regional Sales Manager.

This role is ideal for an ambitious university graduate (2.1 grade or higher) seeking an entry-level sales opportunity.

No prior experience is required. The role suits a confident, friendly individual who is a relationship builder. Resilience and a target-driven mentality are important due to the fast-paced nature of the role. A driving license is essential.
