Overview

We are offering an exciting opportunity for school leavers to join our Graduate Apprenticeship programme in Glasgow. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will have acquired an Honours degree in Accountancy and Finance from Robert Gordon University and professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant with ICAS. Additionally, you will gain 5 years of invaluable experience working in a finance team for a top-three global insurance broker, with the guarantee of a full-time position.

Your Learning

1. 5-year programme
2. Years 1 to 3: study for BA (Hons) in Accounting with Robert Gordon University
3. Years 4 & 5: study for CA qualification with ICAS
4. 1 protected study day per week
5. 8 days per year on campus (travel and subsistence costs to Aberdeen covered)
6. Dedicated mentor throughout the programme

Your Role

At our Global Accounting Centre, with over 300 team members servicing a global business, you'll be part of our experienced finance team from day one, receiving full support. You'll develop deep accounting knowledge in a structured environment, gaining real-world experience.

During the five-year programme, you'll work in various finance teams, gaining comprehensive understanding. Responsibilities include producing and reporting accurate financial results, preparing accounting entries, and supporting issue resolution. Each experience will deepen your understanding of Gallagher's policies, governance, and processes.

You will also apply university knowledge to tasks and projects in your daily work.
