Job title: Graduate Airframe Engineer

Location: Prestwick (Ayrshire)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; however, for this role, you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

What you’ll be doing:

  • Graduate Airframe Engineer is split into four disciplines: Aerodynamics, Design, Materials, and Structural.
  • Aerodynamics discipline delivers aerodynamic solutions that maintain, develop, and apply aerodynamic capability to our aircraft programmes.
  • Design Engineering Discipline is responsible for producing the integrated airframe design definition and physical product design dataset to enable product manufacture, through-life support, qualification, and certification.
  • Materials Engineering Discipline is responsible for materials and process technical support, capability for materials development, and manufacturing activities.
  • Structures Engineering discipline is responsible for the definition of initial airframe structural design and ensuring the ongoing structural integrity of BAE Systems Air products.
