Minimum requirements include a 2:2 or predicted 2:2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, an aerospace-related degree, or any STEM subject.

Description:

Job title: Graduate Airframe Engineer

Location: Warton/Samlesbury (Lancashire). We offer hybrid and flexible working arrangements; however, attendance at the site is expected 3-5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

What you’ll be doing:

The Graduate Airframe Engineer role is divided into four disciplines: Aerodynamics, Design, Materials, and Structures.

  • Aerodynamics: Develops aerodynamic solutions to maintain and enhance aircraft capabilities.
  • Design Engineering: Responsible for creating integrated airframe design definitions and physical product datasets for manufacturing, support, qualification, and certification.
  • Materials Engineering: Provides technical support for materials and processes, including materials development and manufacturing activities.
  • Structures Engineering: Defines initial structural aspects of the airframe and ensures ongoing structural integrity of BAE Systems' air products.
