About the Role
As a Graduate Consultant, you’ll be immersed in diverse and exciting projects that combine desk-based work and hands-on field activities. One day, you might assist in developing an innovative web-based air quality dashboard for a local authority, and the next, you could be carrying out an odour survey on a poultry farm or calculating emissions from diesel backup generators.
You'll also collaborate with senior colleagues, attend client meetings, and help develop new technical guidance and tools. Variety is at the heart of this role, ensuring every day is both rewarding and intellectually stimulating.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking inquisitive, self-motivated problem solvers who bring enthusiasm to both physical and analytical tasks. We’re looking for:
Graduates with a degree in an environmental or science-related field. A Masters or PhD is a bonus but not essential.
Technical Skills: Competence in Microsoft Office (especially Excel/VBA) and experience with GIS software.
Quick Learners: Some knowledge of air quality modelling, monitoring, or assessment would be advantageous.
Adaptability: From muddy fields to data analysis, you thrive in diverse settings.
Fresh Perspectives: Innovative thinkers who approach challenges with curiosity and creativity.
A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential.
