Job summary

Cambridge Consultants is seeking graduates to join our Trusted AI and Secure Technologies team to tackle security challenges across cyber security, embedded systems and connected technologies for defence, critical national infrastructure and industry.

You'll work in multidisciplinary teams on real client projects, perform threat modelling and security assessments, and help develop secure-by-design architectures while developing your security engineering skills and gaining hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Essential: degree in a technical discipline and 12 months industrial experience
• Solid understanding of engineering, computing or security principles
• Experience or coursework in cyber security, embedded systems or related fields
• Ability to read and analyze code in C/C++/Python/Java
• Familiarity with security concepts such as authentication and cryptography
• Clear communication skills and collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Contribute to threat modelling and security risk assessments
• Help identify security requirements and secure-by-design architectures
• Support vulnerability assessments and security testing
• Investigate vulnerabilities and address security risks
• Contribute to security cases, assurance activities and documentation
• Analyze systems and designs to identify weaknesses
• Develop prototypes or tools to investigate security problems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to balance security, safety and performance
