Job summary

Computershare UK is hiringGraduate AI Engineers to join Edinburgh-based teams on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll work in the AI Hub, creating AI-powered tools, prototypes and automation while collaborating with engineers, data scientists and architects across the business.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in software engineering, generative AI and cloud technologies, supported by experienced colleagues as you learn modern engineering practices and grow your technical skills.

Qualifications

• Foundational software engineering or programming skills (e.g., Java, .NET, SQL).
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or related field.
• Awareness of Agile delivery, DevOps or cloud-based technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support AI Hub initiatives across business and technology domains.
• Build, test and enhance AI-powered tools, automations and reusable engineering capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product and data teams to design and deliver innovative solutions.
• Develop hands-on software engineering, automation and cloud capability experiences.
