The Purpose of the Role

This role will support the delivery of our AI and automation ambitions by helping build, test, and deploy AI agents and automated workflows across the organisation. As a Graduate AI & Automation Assistant, you will contribute to building smarter ways of working, accelerating internal efficiency, and enabling scale across our Group.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Technology, Data, IT, Operations and Strategy to assist in the implementation of intelligent automation tools and AI agents - learning on the job and applying your technical skills to real-world use cases.

This is a development role, ideal for a graduate with a keen interest in AI, data, and emerging technology - and a real appetite to learn fast in a practical setting.

How will you spend your time?
  • Support the development and deployment of AI agents for internal process automation and optimisation
  • Assist in building low-code and no-code automations using platforms like Power Automate, Zapier, or n8n
  • Document processes and create simple, accessible materials to support adoption and training
  • Help map workflows and identify automation opportunities with internal teams
  • Contribute to internal testing, validation and iteration of AI/automation tools
  • Keep up to date with emerging AI technologies and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel)
  • Work collaboratively across disciplines to integrate AI agents into wider digital transformation initiatives
It's important that you are experienced in
  • A clear interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies
  • Comfortable with data analysis and logical problem-solving
  • Some exposure to programming or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Power Fx)
  • Excellent communication skills - able to explain technical ideas simply
  • Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and platforms quickly
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in driving change
Desirable
  • Experience using or experimenting with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or custom bots
  • Exposure to automation tools or integration platforms
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, APIs, or cloud-based environments
  • Awareness of data governance, risk, or ethical AI principles
The Recruitment Process
