Howden is recruiting a Trainee Actuarial Consultant for the Retirement team in Manchester, starting September 2027. The role offers a structured graduate programme with study support and dedicated training, alongside a competitive salary of 32,000–34,000 GBP per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree required, A at A-Level or Higher Maths, and Level 6 at GCSE English (or equivalents).
• Strong academic background and proactive, dynamic approach with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Actuarial services to defined benefit pension schemes, including calculations, data processing and client reporting.
• Support the corporate team across various areas of the business.
• Develop capabilities across the firm and work directly with clients during trainee projects.
