Job summary

Anderson Clark is offering an Accounts Assistant (Graduate / First Job) position in North London. This office-based role provides full training and a clear path to AAT progression within a medium-sized finance team.

You will learn hands-on across the finance function, handling invoices, payments, reconciliations, and monthly statements while joining a supportive team in a smart workspace.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• A Levels, a BTec or a finance related UK degree.
• Confident with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Good with numbers and a real eye for detail.
• A willingness to learn and take on feedback.
• Clear, friendly communication skills.
• Good time management and the ability to juggle deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Posting purchase invoices and expenses
• Putting together supplier payment runs
• Reconciling company credit cards and customer accounts
• Raising sales invoices and helping with monthly statements
• Helping with credit control, including chasing overdue accounts by phone and email
• Keeping client details up to date in Xero (full training given)
• Posting to the cashbook and helping with bank reconciliations
• Producing regular finance reports
• Supporting the Finance Manager and the wider team
