First People Solutions are are seeking a motivated Graduate Accountant to join the team at First People Solutions.

About Us

FPS supply technical and engineering experts to the Aviation, Energy, Science, Construction and Oil and Gas sectors worldwide.


This role offers hands-on experience with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, giving you exposure to real projects from day one. You'll be supported in developing your technical expertise while advancing your professional career in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform bookkeeping tasks
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
  • Prepare trial balances and support financial statement preparation
  • Process invoices, payments and monitor accounts receivable/payable
  • Support management reporting and financial analysis
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assist auditors with documentation and queries
  • Support senior accountants on ad hoc projects and initiatives
  • Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge of accounting systems

Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, able to meet deadlines
  • Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus
