Job summary

Step Into Teaching Limited is seeking a Graduate Academic Coach in Physics at an Outstanding Secondary School in the United Kingdom. The role is full-time, term-time only, with ASAP start, delivering engaging Physics lessons while supporting students’ practical learning and STEM interest.

You will hold a Physics degree (2:2 or above) and possess strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills to guide students through core concepts and hands-on experiments in a safe lab

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Physics or related field (2:2 or above).
• Strong grasp of core Physics concepts.
• Ability to explain complex scientific principles to secondary students.
• Passion for hands-on experiments and practical lab work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting Physics lessons using experiments, group discussions, and problem-solving tasks.
• Explain complex topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, and circuits.
• Contribute to a dynamic Physics curriculum integrating theory and real-world applications.
• Promote scientific curiosity and safe, well-organised lessons.
• Maintain and organise the school’s lab equipment and adhere to safety standards.

• Promote positive student behaviour, ensuring that lessons are safe, organised, and aligned with school values
• Assist in maintaining and organising theschool’s lab equipment, ensuring all safety standards are met during practical sessions
