Job summary

Minster Law Ltd is seeking an experienced legal professional to handle a portfolio of claimant serious injury claims, generating fee income and contributing to department success. The caseload is predominantly RTA-based with cases valued up to £50,000.

You will liaise with clients, manage meetings, and work with a multidisciplinary team to progress matters and secure favourable settlements. The role requires excellent client care, strong communication, and proficiency with a case management

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitors or Fellows of CILEx with Grade C charge-out rate.
• Commitment to delivering excellent client care for each of our clients.
• Excellent communication skills including negotiation and objection handling.
• Accountable for achieving objectives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• Competent working with a case management system and good knowledge of Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent client care to clients who have suffered a traumatic event.
• Regular communication and face to face meetings with clients.
• Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team of experts (medical, case managers, care experts, etc.).
• Analyze evidence and research legal issues on liability, causation and quantum.
• Draft statements, pleadings and schedules of loss.
• Secure early interim payments and rehabilitation where appropriate.
• Help optimise clients' settlements and manage expectations.
• Use a task-based case management system to maintain regular contact with clients.

Job Summary

To handle a portfolio of claimant serious injury claims for Minster Law clients, to generate fee income and contribute to the general success of the department. The caseload is predominantly RTA based and it is anticipated you will deal with cases valued up to £50,000.

Core Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for delivering excellent client care to our clients who have suffered from a traumatic and life changing event.

• Regular communication and face to face meetings with your client.

• Instructions and meetings with a multi-disciplinary team of experts for example, medical experts, case managers, care experts, architects, forensic accountants, counsel.

• Analysis of evidence and research of legal issues on liability, causation and quantum.

• Drafting documents including statements, pleadings and schedules of loss.

• Securing early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation.

• Optimising your client’s settlement.

• Ability to work with a task based case management system to ensure regular contact is maintained with all clients, providing exceptional customer service and managing their expectations.

• Raising awareness of the department and developing your profile.

• Perform to a high level in a target orientated environment.

• To undertake any other tasks as deemed relevant and reasonable by the business

Key Performance Indicators

Your KPIs and Objectives will be discussed and agreed with you on a one-to-one basis. You will have regular one-to-one meetings with your line manager to review your performance against these objectives and identify any areas for development and/or required support.

Travel

Salary Information

The annual salary range for this role is £35,000 - 42,000
