Job summary

Imagination Technologies Limited in Kings Langley is seeking an engineer to join the GPU Datapath team, a unique applied research group delivering high‑performing arithmetic hardware for the XE series GPUs and beyond.

You will design and evaluate hardware architectures for math-intensive blocks, translate requirements into datapath designs, and contribute to cutting-edge GPU products while learning industry tools with full training.

Qualifications

• Programming experience with SystemVerilog, VHDL, C++, Python, Tcl or shell.
• Ability to imagine and implement improvements to a broad range of processes.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Critical thinking with the ability to think abstractly and concretely.
• Tenacity and collaborative mindset to drive tasks to completion.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate hardware architectures for math-intensive blocks.
• Research new techniques for implementing mathematical operations in silicon.
• Produce patentable work in a research environment.
• Plan and schedule your own work and educate other team members on datapath designs.
• Contribute to development of XE GPUs and other products.
