Job summary

Imagination Technologies seeks engineers to design, evaluate, and implement arithmetic hardware for GPUs within the GPU Datapath team. You’ll research and develop high‑performance hardware components and push the boundaries of silicon computation.

Full training will be provided on industry tools and in‑house techniques. You’ll contribute original ideas, collaborate with engineers, and help deliver cutting‑edge GPU products.

Qualifications

• Programming experience in SystemVerilog, VHDL, C/C++, Python, Tcl or shell.
• Ability to imagine and implement improvements to processes.
• Clear communication of complex technical information, written and verbal.
• Critical thinking with abstract and concrete reasoning.
• Tenacity to work with others to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate hardware architectures for math-heavy blocks.
• Research techniques for implementing mathematical operations in silicon.
• Produce patentable work in a research environment.
• Plan and schedule your own work and educate others on datapath designs.
• Understand and crystallise requirements for arithmetic hardware with engineers.
