Job summary

A healthcare provider in Hythe is seeking a motivated Practice Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team. Qualifications

  • Willingness to undertake the NES General Practice Nurse course.
  • Adaptable, organised, and committed to continuous learning.

Rothes Medical Practice is seeking a motivated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team.

We are a well-established, forward-thinking practice based in Pitteuchar Health Centre, a modern, purpose-built facility with excellent access to the A92. We care for a patient population of approximately 8,800 and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Our Team

You’ll be joining a collaborative and experienced team that includes:

· Five GP Partners and a SCOTGEM GP

· Three Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs)

· Two Practice Nurses

· A Practice Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

· A Health Care Support Worker and Treatment Room Nurse

· NHS Fife Mental Health Nurse, Health Visitor, and District Nursing teams

· NHS Fife Pharmacists

· A highly skilled and supportive administrative team

The Role

We are looking for a friendly, proactive nurse with excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care. The role includes:

· Chronic disease management (COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertension, CVD)

· Running autonomous clinics

· Promoting healthy lifestyles and self-management

· Taking smears

Training will be provided for the above

What We’re Looking For

· Experience in a Primary Care setting is desirable but not essential

· A willingness to undertake the NES General Practice Nurse course, fully supported by the practice

· A team player who is adaptable, organised, and committed to continuous learning
