We are committed to supporting our staff's professional journey, so we welcome applications from all levels of experienced practitioners, including newly qualified GPs, so please do apply or contact us if you would like to discuss further.

Main duties of the job

The GP will work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to patients of the practice and delivering an excellent standard of clinical care. The post holder will adhere to the GMC standards of good practice, contributing to the effective management of the service, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team and sharing decision-making responsibilities with the partnership team. Duties will include leadership, clinical, administrative and financial management.

With regard to our set up of our services, home visits are usually undertaken by our practice paramedic team, and we process most of our appointment requests via reception over the phone. All our 'on the day' appointments are initially via telephone, and clinicians triage any face to face appointments required. We also have a mix of planned face to face and telephone appointments over the day.

As a practice, we pride ourselves on staying true to the values of family medicine whilst providing a supportive and inclusive working environment.
