Job summary

AMP Group Practice in Sutton is seeking a GP committed to high-quality patient care within a supportive, collaborative team across four sites. The role includes one fixed full day at Askern Medical Practice on a Thursday, with two additional sessions to be discussed with the successful candidate.

We work with SystmOne, Ardrens and Accurx to deliver patient-centred care and promote education, clinical governance and professional development in a four-site network.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective and patient-centred clinical care.
• Undertake routine GP consultations and clinical assessments.
• Manage the on-call message board on Thursdays.
• Review and action pathology results and pathology links.
• Complete clinical administration and patient follow-up.
• Process prescriptions and Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) tasks.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary practice team.
• Participate in clinical governance and professional development.
• Support the delivery of safe and effective primary care services.
• Our premises are modern, and purpose built. Our team consists of GPs, Physician Assistant, Practice Nurses, HCAs and other associated staff.
• Through our PCN membership we have had opportunity to work collaboratively across our Network area. We have had opportunity to work alongside ARRS roles including Pharmacy Team, Physiotherapist, Primary Care Mental Health team, as well as a Social Prescribers.
