Job summary

Yalding Surgery in the Kent countryside near Maidstone is seeking a Salaried GP to join a friendly, supportive team for 4–6 sessions per week. You will provide high-quality patient-centred care, participate in the duty rota and undertake home visits as needed, with teaching and quality-improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with licence to practise.
• Inclusion on the NHS England Performers List.
• MRCGP (or equivalent).
• Experience working in UK General Practice.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills.
• Interest in teaching or training.
• Women’s health.
• You will need experience in working in a GP setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred care through face-to-face and remote consultations.
• Participate in the shared duty doctor rota.
• Undertake home visits when appropriate.
• Manage clinical correspondence and administration.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Contribute to teaching, quality improvement and clinical governance.
• Support development of the practice and Primary Care Network.
• Maintain GMC registration, appraisal and CPD.
• Follow practice policies and safeguarding responsibilities.
