Job summary

NHS England - West Midlands GP School is seeking experienced Training Programme Directors to contribute to a total of 22 sessions across the West Midlands, enhancing the learning experience for GP Registrars and supporting successful progression to MRCGP.

You will work with the GP School and local education teams to coordinate educational sessions, provide pastoral support, oversee assessments including ARCP, and help embed the Structured Learning Programme and health inequalities initiatives

Qualifications

Established Training Programme Directors (TPDs) sought to lead 22 sessions across West Midlands.
Applicants should demonstrate knowledge of Structured Learning and commitment to GP education to be shortlisted.
Role involves collaboration with GP School and local education teams to support GP Registrars to reach their full potential.
Includes induction for international medical graduates and NHS newcomers, and high‑quality training placements.
Face-to-face and virtual education delivery, and timely educational and pastoral support.

Responsibilities

Preparation and delivery of educational sessions.
Educational facilitation and curriculum support.
Pastoral and individual learner support.
Organising face-to-face and virtual educational programmes.
Providing timely educational and pastoral support to learners and educators.
Ensuring appropriate assessment processes, including ARCP delivery.
Collaborating with senior educators, Training Hubs, Trusts, and partner organisations across the region.
