A leading healthcare organization is seeking a part-time GP Receptionist to manage patient interactions and support clinical staff. The role encompasses greeting patients, managing appointments, and ensuring efficient communication within the healthcare team. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and providing general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing information, and assisting patients as required. Act as the central point of contact for patients, distributing information, messages, and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
The Bridge Group Practice operates within two purpose-built premises in West and North Hull. We serve over 8,500 patients and are part of the NEXUS Primary Care Network, comprising four local practices.
We are a GMS practice. Our clinical software is SystmOne, and we are paper-light. We excel in QOF and provide a range of Enhanced Services. Our 2016 CQC inspection rated us as GOOD. Our strengths include a commitment to traditional family practice values, strong ties with the local community, and good working relationships with neighboring practices.
Our team includes an Advanced Nurse Prescriber, a Nurse Practitioner, two experienced nurses, and healthcare assistants who manage long-term conditions. We have excellent administration and reception staff at both sites.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 12 pm - 6 pm
Additional tasks may be required depending on workload and staffing levels.
