An exciting opportunity has arisen at our established and busy GP practice for an enthusiastic receptionist to join our friendly team, on a part-time, temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The exact dates of the cover are to be confirmed, but likely to start around October 2025.
We are a SystmOne practice. Experience as a GP receptionist is highly desirable.

Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice.
Provide care navigation/signposting of patients.
Receive and make telephone calls as required.
Liaise with other clinical staff including district nurses, health visitors, etc.
To work in accordance with practice protocols.
Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow up appointments.
Enter requests for appointments, tasks, general queries into clinical systems, ensuring to carefully record all relevant details and referring to doctor where necessary.
Ensure efficient running of appointment system and monitor flow of patients into treatment/consulting rooms.
