Job summary

• Process repeat medication requests (add/alter/print)
• Process acute prescriptions with GP/pharmacist support
• Expedite urgent prescriptions for safe service
• Scan documents into Systmone
• Handle prescription queries from patients
• Communicate with patients, carers and health agencies by phone
• Liaise with duty doctor to ensure timely requests
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency of Prescription Department procedures
