Woodlands Medical Practice is a friendly, 5 GP practice in Sutton-in-Ashfield with approximately 11,500 patients. We obtained an Outstanding rating with the CQC and are committed to providing patient-centred care in a happy, supportive, and well-organised working environment.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Prescription Clerk/Receptionist to join our busy Administration team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible, and have a can-do attitude. They should be highly motivated, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. The ability to prioritise workloads and communicate effectively with all staff groups is essential. Excellent keyboard skills, accurate data entry, and a keen eye for detail are required. A medical background is preferable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Working pattern
Working over a 3-week rota: week 1 as a Prescription Clerk (25 hours, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm), and weeks 2 and 3 as part of the reception team (25 hours per week, starting at 8 am or ending at 6:30 pm). The team covers this service Monday to Friday, with evenings and Saturdays on a rota basis.
