A well-established surgery in Twickenham seeks an experienced Practice Nurse for a permanent part-time role. The ideal candidate will have expertise in chronic disease management and immunizations, contributing to a proactive teaching practice focused on excellent patient care.
A wonderful surgery in the Twickenham area of London is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse. We are a long-established, teaching practice with over 8,000 patients. We pride ourselves on excellent patient care and are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic Practice Nurse with experience and training in long-term conditions to join our expanding team. This is a permanent position.
16 hours per week, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hours and days may be negotiable for the right candidate.
The post-holder will implement and lead on a full range of health promotion and management, ensuring safety, infection control, and compliance with practice policies. Our practice utilizes the EMIS clinical system.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Practice Nurse proactive in developing competencies to meet practice needs. Desirable skills and experience include, but are not limited to, childhood and adult immunizations, travel vaccinations, cytology, contraception, chronic disease management, spirometry, ECG, phlebotomy, annual diabetic/asthma checks, and QOF-related administration.
We are a proactive teaching practice led by two Partners and Practice management.
Salary is negotiable, based on experience. NHS Pension Scheme is available.
Job Summary
The post-holder is an experienced nurse responsible for delivering safe and effective patient care, managing a diverse clinical caseload, and contributing to the development of nursing services. They will work independently, adhering to NMC standards and protocols, and will work within a multidisciplinary team to meet practice and contractual obligations.
