The Old School Surgery in Canterbury is seeking a reliable GP Practice Dispenser/Dispensary Assistant to join our team. You will help ensure medicines are dispensed safely, accurately and on time, while delivering friendly, professional service to patients.

Experience in general practice dispensing is desirable but not essential; however relevant dispensing, pharmacy or customer-service experience is welcome and the ability to learn is valued.

• Experience in general practice dispensing is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and demonstrate accuracy, reliability and patient focus.
• Able to follow procedures and maintain data confidentiality.

Mansioni

• Accurately prepare, label and dispense medication in line with prescriptions and procedures.
• Check dispensed medicines against prescriptions and refer concerns to GP.
• Process repeat prescriptions promptly within required timescales.
• Provide courteous, helpful service and respond to patient queries.
• Maintain dispensing records and liaise with clinicians and staff.
