Job summary

G DOC Ltd is seeking a qualified dispenser to join our dispensary team at Coleford Health Centre in Gloucestershire. This part-time role (25 hours per week) offers permanent employment with a pay of £13.50 per hour, in a GP-owned practice focused on safe and efficient dispensing of medicines for our patients and doctors.

You will be part of a supportive team including a Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician, and you will be required to immunise as per NHS guidance.

Qualifications

• DBS check is essential.
• Continuing professional development (CPD) evidenced.
• Experience of working in a dispensary (community or hospital).
• Dispensing Assistant Qualification is essential.
• GCSE maths and English (or equivalent).
• Willingness to undertake training in SystmOne, Office & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions according to Practice procedures.
• Issue paper and electronic prescriptions to dispensing and non-dispensing patients in a timely manner.
• Process requests for, and prepare, medication compliance aids.
• Check and reconcile prescriptions and maintain accurate records.
