Job summary

Phoenix Health Group in Tetbury invites a GP Partner (3-6 sessions) to join our growing practice as we move into a new state-of-the-art building in 2027. You will manage a patient list, handle prescriptions, referrals, and communications, and contribute to high-quality continuity of care.

You will join a large partnership with 12 other Partners and 4 Salaried GPs, supported by a multidisciplinary team, including in-house pharmacy, nurses, care coordinators, and admin staff, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Medical Council to practise in the UK.
• Current UK professional registration is required.
• DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient list and oversight of prescriptions, referrals, communications, and pathology filing.
• Provide continuity of care through a personal list system and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Work within a large partnership (12 Partners + 4 Salaried GPs) to support colleagues and share workload.
• Contribute to service development as the practice grows and moves to a new building.

Exciting Opportunity at Cotswold Practice

Phoenix Health Group is looking for a GP Partner (3-6 sessions) to join our happy and thriving practice in Tetbury. We are excited to be moving into a new state of the art Building in early 2027 and will have space to expand our team.

Main duties of the job

We are proud of our continuity of care and patients are assigned a usual GP. The successful candidate will be responsible for a patient list and the work associated with that list, including prescription re-authorising, referrals and communications and pathology filing.

The successful candidate will join a large Partnership with 12 other Partners and 4 Salaried GPs, which provides resilience and plenty of opportunities to support one another.

We have a total list size 24,600 and growing, with practices in Cirencester, South Cerney, Tetbury and Kemble.

GP workload is supported by a range of Allied Health professionals including our in-house practice pharmacy team, 4 urgent care practitioners and practice nursing team who manage our chronic disease patients and a team of care co-ordinators who support GPs to manage their patients.
