Job summary

Kings Practice in Perth, central Scotland, invites General Practitioners to join for Spring 2027, with 4–8 sessions per week and flexible arrangements including occasional short-term sessions or longer-term established roles.

The practice operates as a six-partner team serving around 6,500 patients, with strong ties to nursing and admin teams and a culture that emphasises education, collaboration, and a sustainable working life.

Glover Street Medical Centre, 133 Glover Street, Perth PH2 0JB

We are looking for GPs for both immediate occasional sessions and established roles from Spring 2027.

Due to forthcoming retirement and continued practice growth, we are looking for GPs to join our practice from Spring 2027 working 4-8 sessions per week.

We are also happy to hear from GPs looking for occasional sessions in the short term, whether alongside other commitments, as locum work, or with a view to build to an established role in 2027.

About the practice

We are currently a six partner practice serving 6500 patients across Perth City and the surrounding area. We are supported by experienced and dedicated administrative and nursing teams and benefit from close working relationships with on-site community colleagues, including community nursing staff, health visitors and a pharmacy team.

We are committed to providing high quality patient care while maintaining a supportive and sustainable working environment.

We offer 15 minute face to face appointments as standard, and a full range of GMS services including joint injections, contraceptive services and childhood surveillance.

We are a Vision practice and use Docman for the electronic management of patient correspondence.

Kings Practice is ideally located in central Scotland, with excellent transport links to Scotland's major cities. Perth offers the convenience of a city location alongside easy access to some of Scotland's most beautiful countryside and outdoor spaces.
