Job summary

Woodley Centre Surgery in Reading is seeking an enthusiastic GP for a fixed-term maternity cover. The post involves 6 sessions per week across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with a salary of £11,000 per session per annum (£66,000 per annum for 6 sessions).

The role requires delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a supportive multidisciplinary team and contributing to day-to-day general practice operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in primary care and managing diverse health needs.
• Full GMC registration and MRCGP or equivalent.
• Desirable EMIS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face, telephone and online consultations.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions and prescribe appropriately.
• Manage chronic diseases and support ongoing patient care.
• Engage in CPD and maintain high standards of care.
• Respond to emergencies within the practice.
