Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking GMC-registered General Practitioners to provide flexible locum coverage in Shildon and surrounding areas. You will run independent GP clinics across community and primary care settings, with access to a mix of sessions to fit your schedule.

This role requires NHS Performers List registration, strong diagnostic reasoning and patient communication, and valid indemnity with Enhanced DBS.

Locum Ready is looking for Locum General Practitioners in Shildon. This role offers access to a variety of community-focused and GP-based clinical sessions, giving you the flexibility to choose work that aligns with your experience, preferred pace and weekly schedule.

You will support a range of primary care services by managing autonomous GP clinics, handling urgent care demand, providing routine appointments and completing essential clinical follow-up work. Each service provides clear guidance, structured processes and a well-managed clinical environment.
